HAPPY SCIENCE DAY, ARMENIAN HISTORIAN!

On November 10, the world community celebrates World Science Day. In 2001, it was officially established and introduced by one of the prestigious international organizations – UNESCO. Its official name is “World Science Day for Peace and Development”. The scientific community began to celebrate World Science Day since 2002, when various scientific-practical events were organized on November 10 in different parts of the world – round tables, thematic discussions and conferences, lectures and seminars, museum exhibitions, etc.

The meaning of the day is to emphasize the important role of science and scientists in society, to ensure that the public is informed about scientific achievements, and to try to involve broad sections of society in the discussion of various scientific issues.
