Shavarsh Azatyan, a research fellow in the Department of Medieval History at the Institute of History, participated in the international conference “Armenia: At the Crossroads of Centuries and Worlds”, hosted by Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. This participation was carried out within the framework of the “Support Programme for Young Researchers’ Studies – 2025”.

In his paper, Shavarsh Azatyan addressed the historiographical and hagiographical accounts concerning King Tiridates III the Great of Armenia, alongside the iconography of the monarch within Armenian manuscripts.
