The presentation of the book The Literary and Political Interconnections of Yeghishe Charents by Professor David Gasparyan, Doctor of Philological Sciences and Leading Research Fellow at the Institute of History, took place as a joint initiative of the Yerevan Office of the Hamazkayin Armenian Educational and Cultural Society and the Institute of History.

The event was attended by representatives of academic and cultural circles. The opening address was delivered by Ruzan Arakelyan, Director of the Yerevan Office of Hamazkayin, who emphasised the significance of the publication for the field of Charents studies.
A welcoming address was delivered by Hamo Sukiasyan, Acting Director of the Institute of History, who underscored the importance of cooperation with Hamazkayin and noted that the volume constitutes a valuable contribution to the comprehensive study of the life and scholarly legacy of Yeghishe Charents.
The historical-documentary and scholarly value of the publication was discussed by Professor Karen Khachatryan, Doctor of Historical Sciences and Deputy Director of the Institute of History; Armen Karapetyan, Candidate of Historical Sciences; and Artashes Shahbazyan, Member of the Central Board of Hamazkayin. The event also featured remarks by the eminent composer, Maestro Tigran Mansuryan.
At the conclusion of the presentation, the author, David Gasparyan, spoke about the history of the book’s preparation and expressed his gratitude to all those in attendance.
