INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF KAREN JEPPE ARMENIAN COLLEGE IN ALEPPO

The Institute of History of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Armenia organizes an international conference titled “Foreign Sources on Armenian Settlements-Communities” It is dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the founding of Karen Jeppe Armenian College in Aleppo. The conference is scheduled to take place on November 4, 2022.

Those wishing to take part in the conference should submit abstracts of up to 1 page to the Department of History of Armenian Settlements and Diaspora of the NAS of RA, including the topic of the paper, name of the participant, as well as the institution that the speaker represents. (Independent researchers may also participate). The participants, whose papers are chosen by the Organizing Committee will be informed within 10 days after receipt of their papers.

Conference languages: Armenian, English, Russian.

Limit of the presentation  –– 15 minutes.

Conference participants will be issued appropriate certificates.

The papers presented at the conference will be published in an edited volume titled “Foreign Sources on Armenian Settlements-Communities.”

The cost of transportation, accommodation and meals are borne by the conference participants or the institution they represent.
