At the invitation of the Battle of Stalingrad Museum-Reserve, Deputy Director of the NAS RA Institute of History, Dr. Hist. Sci., Professor Karen Khachatryan, took part in the international conference dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, held in Volgograd on 9–10 October 2025.

In his welcoming address, Professor Khachatryan briefly outlined the achievements of the Institute of History in researching the principal issues related to the Great Patriotic War. He also delivered a report on the heroic participation of the Armenian people in the war and their substantial contribution to the Victory.
