On 29 November, a group of schoolchildren and teachers of the Mughni Archbishop Mesrop Ashchyan School, led by Director Anush Paremuzyan, visited the NAS RA Institute of History. The Director of the Institute, Academician of the NAS RA, Professor, Dr. Hist. Sci. Ashot Melkonyan, presented to the guests several episodes of cooperation between the NAS RA Institute of History and the late Archbishop Mesrop Ashchyan, including joint conferences, the publication of books, visits to Western Armenia, and other initiatives.

The teachers and schoolchildren acquainted themselves with the activities of the “Archbishop Mesrop Ashchyan” library-museum, scientific centre, and the printing house operating within the Institute, which publishes historical works in the “Archbishop Mesrop Ashchyan” series. The Institute presented the school with seven volumes of the academic multi-volume “Armenian History”, authored by its staff.
