International Conference in Thessaloniki

The Genocide of the Christian Populations in the Ottoman Empire and its Aftermath (1908-1923).
On May 10-12, 2019 an international conference was held at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece titled "The Genocide of the Christian Populations in the Ottoman Empire and its Aftermath (1908-1923)". Several dozens of young and distinguished researchers and genocide scholars from Greece, Armenia, Sweden, United States and other countries took part in the conference.

Anahit Khosroeva, Ph.D - leading researcher of the Institute of History, NAS of RA has been invited to have a presentation during this conference. Her speech was on “The Official Genocidal Policy of the Young Turks’ state: The Assyrian Case”.
