On November 26, in the session hall of the National Assembly of the Republic of Artsakh, the scientific-practical conference “The Artsakh problem in the context of modern political processes” was held, which was organized by the Artsakh MESCS and the NAS RA Institute of History.

On November 8, 2022, the 3rd international conference entitled “Foreign sources about Armenian colonies” was held in the conference hall of the NAS RA Institute of History, which was dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the foundation of the “Karen Jeppe” National Seminary in Aleppo.
On November 1, 2022, the presentation of the book “Jerusalem and the Armenians before the Ottoman rule (1516)” authored by the foreign member of the NAS RA, Dr. of Sci. Claude-Armen Mutafyan took place in the conference hall of the NAS RA Institute of History.
The presentation of Paruyr Hakobyan’s memoirs entitled “About my life full of suffering” took place in the conference hall of the NAS RA presidium.
The book was thoroughly presented by the author of the foreword and notes of the memoir, Director of the NAS RA Institute of History, Acad. Ashot Melkonyan.
Acad. Yuri Suvaryan, Dr. of Hist. Sci., Professor Gevorg Stepanyan, Cd. of Hist. Sci., Associate Professor Hamo Sukiasyan, Researcher Armen Asatryan. They emphasized the exceptional importance of the book in the field of studying the history of the first quarter of the 20th century in Armenia. The son of the author of the book, Academician of the NAS RA, Vilen Paruyr Hakobyan, made a concluding speech.
The scientific cooperation between the North Caucasian Federal University of the Russian Federation (NCFU) and the NAS RA Institute of History continues. On October 21-22, the international scientific conference “Ethno-political conflicts in the Caucasus and the Middle East” was held at the North Caucasian Federal University of the Russian Federation (Stavropol). This time, the NAS RA Institute of History was on the list of organizers of the conference within the framework of cooperation with the NCFU.
On October 20-21, 2022, the international scientific conference entitled “HISTORY AND CULTURE OF ANCIENT ARMENIA” was held in the conference hall of the NAS RA Institute of History. The Deputy Director of the NAS RA Institute of History, Dr. of Hist. Sci. Prof. Karen Khachatryan delivered an opening speech.
On October 11, “Limits of Empires: Identities on the Borders of World Systems” was held in the conference hall of the RA NAS Presidency. The conference was organized by the initiative of Yervand Margaryan, Head of the Department of World History and Foreign Regional Studies of the Armenian-Russian University, Senior Researcher at the NAS RA Institute of History. Researcher Zohrab Gevorgyan made a report from the NAS RA Institute of History.
On October 11, the double-sided postcard with 1 stamp dedicated to the theme “Armenian History. 150th Anniversary of Founding of ‘Mshak’ Weekly” was put into circulation in the conference hall of the NAS RA Institute of History. The redemption of the postcard was carried out by Davit Sahakyan – Minister of High-tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Araik Khzmalyan – Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, Araik Abrahamyan – Acting Chief Executive Director of “HayPost” Company, Albert Kharatyan – Head of the History of of Armenian Periodical Press and Public Thought Department of the NAS RA Institute of History and Hovik Musayelyan – President of the Armenian Association of Philatelists.
On October 6, 2022, the “Vache and Tamar Manukyan” Matenadaran of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin hosted a conference entitled “Holy Etchmiadzin – a haven of books”, dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the activity of the Matenadaran. It was organized with the blessing of the Catholicos of All Armenians His Holiness Karekin II and the patronage of “Vache and Tamar Manukyan” benevolent union.
An international conference attended by representatives of 18 countries was held in St Petersburg on 29-30 September 2022. The conference was dedicated to the problems of history teaching in school textbooks. Academician Alexander Chubaryan, Academic Director of the Institute of World History of the Russian Academy of Sciences, as well as representatives of the St. Petersburg authorities spoke at the opening of the conference.
On 4 October 2022, the international conference "Armenians of Cilicia in 1908-1922" was held in the conference hall of the Institute of History of the National Academy of the Republic of Armenia. The conference was organized by the initiative of the Department of New Ages of NAS RA.
Director of the Institute of History of NAS RA, academician Ashot Melkonyan made a welcoming speech to the participants.
